Cloudhelm is famed for the quality of its weavers, and first amongst them at present is Tjnsaari. As other women in her family have gratefully been before, Tjnsaari's product is subject to the Warrant of Aquitaine - seen both a mark of quality craft but also a guarantee of purchase by one of the wealthiest houses in the archipelago.

The long fur of the Ridge Hare native to Cloudhelm produces a light, short-haired fibre known to be tricky to work, but it is the only fibre truly suitable for crafting cloth that ripples like a pond at the lightest breeze. When blending with silk the resulting fabric is of little practical use in cold climates, but the noble ladies of the isles will have their shimmering, flowing dresses.

Tjnsaari has taught her family's techniques to her children, the eldest of whom is seen as Tjnsaari's eventual inheritor. She also teaches her skills to the occasional stranger who demonstrates an earnest interest...if they offer a bit of coin for the master weaver's time.
