Wealthy Merchant from the Mainland

Nazzareno is one of the few and rare “proper” foreigners currently residing at Court. He arrived in London from the mainland following last winter, bringing with him coffers brimming with gold and spices, as well as all manners of cloth, silk, tapestries, and other luxury goods.

Claiming to be from Florence (Tuscany), Nazzareno seems to have trading contacts with many mainland tribes and kingdoms and has apparently come to Logres to expand his trading empire. He’s been purchasing large quantities of furs, silver, and gemstones and shipping them back to the mainland.

Nazzareno has purchased two large warehouses in London where he conducts most of his business, and he has just recently commissioned the building of a house. He has brought with him his family and usually has his two eldest sons tend to his affairs in London. The family also employs a mixed bag of Cymric and Saxon mercenaries to protect their interests.

Having given lavish gifts to High King Aurelius upon his arrival at Court, Nazzareno has so far been considered a guest of the High King, although many wonder how long this hospitality will last.

Nazzareno is currently “making the rounds” of the various courts of the King’s realm, introducing himself and making himself available to the various Lords, bringing along with him his daughters in the hope of finding them husbands… and cementing his place in Logres.
