Sir Agrather is one of Earl Roderick’s Household knights, chief of the Household Guard, and personal bodyguard to the Earl and his family.

A very quiet and unassuming man, most often believe him either mute or dumb, for he barely ever utters a single word. Alert and kind, he nevertheless always seems to carry with himself with a sour look, as if constantly bothered by something. Many think him incapable of smiling.

He is never very far from the Earl, always silently keeping a close watch on him and his family. Something of an oddity among the knights of Salisbury, Sir Agrather greatly dislikes riding horses and can more often than not be found traveling on foot or in a cart.

Sir Agrather has been known to clash with Sir Wynn when the mercenary is at Court, which rarely happens nowadays.

He is known to be fiercely protective of the Earl and his family to the point of having to be reined in by either Sir Rholyn or the Earl himself.

Although no one would question his loyalties openly, it is rather clear that if Sir Agrather ever had to choose between his loyalty to the Earl or to the crown, he would draw steel against the King without a second of hesitation.
