Salisbury Knight

Born in Year 450.

Sir Bar could only be described as impressively imposing. Broad of shoulders with hands big enough to crush a man’s skull, Sir Bar towers over most other Salisbury knights.

Not particularly known for his cunning, Sir Bar is a simple man who is loyal and obedient, clearly preferring to let others do the thinking for him. He boasts a loud and deep laugh, which can often be heard. He loves his women and his drinks as much as he loves a good fight, which is by far his favorite activity. Sir Bar can always be counted on to throw the first punch in a brawl, but he’s often found to be the first one to embrace his foe and buy the next round of ale. He is a man who lives as large as he is.

For a man of his stature, Sir Bar is surprisingly agile on a horse… that is, when he can find one to support his weight. He owns the very best horses in Salisbury and those that need nothing but the best Charger know where to find one.

Going on many years now, he has been the Lance Champion of the Earl, which many attributes more to the weight behind the Lance than to his skills with it.

Sir Bar can often be found teasing Sir Jarradan and tempting Sir Lycus with ale, women and all manners of sin. Rumors often circulate about his friendship with Sir Primry, to which Sir Bar usually answers she’s the only knight who knows how to drink.
