Lu'kas was born on the planet Ishkan, a beautiful world with a large diversity of life.  The plants and animals, have all evolved to survive high levels of radiation, as the planet is in the middle of a massive radiation cloud.

The populace is actually descended from feline like creatures, giving the population slit eyes, retractable claws and slightly longer than normal hands.  Lu'kas was a throwback, and was born with large fangs, reminiscent of sabre-tooth tigers of Earth.

He has tawny-yellow hair, which runs as a scruff down the spine, and a 3 foot long tail covered in fur.   He is pretty much average for his species in appearance, which is very similar to humans otherwise.

He dresses in conservative clothes when not on duty, but puts on his stylized armor, a light weight ceramic, black in coloration, with metallic blue trim.

Growing up on his home world was difficult for him, as he was only a latent psychic, and almost everyone else on the planet is natural psychic.  Treated like an outcast because he wasn't as strong a psychic as the average person, he made more people angry because he was able to use a wider range of abilities, utilizing physical, sensitive and healing abilities rather than just a single ability.

When Lu'kas had reached adulthood, he went off planet, traveling to Center, one of the largest, most variously populated places in the systems.  He was looking to intern in a legal division, when he heard a commotion approaching, and saw several people chasing some armed men.  A quick probe (telepathy) of the men, he realized the ones with the weapons were wanted criminals, the others were bounty hunters.  The criminals had opened fire into the crowd indiscriminately, hitting several people.

Lu'kas ran to the injured and used his ability to start healing the wounded, while the bounty hunters finally caught their quarry, except one, who grabbed him to use his as a shield.  Looking over his shoulder at the unsuspecting person, he teleported his pistol out of his hand, and then proceeded to beat the criminal to a pulp, with a combination of combat skills, telekinesis (throwing tables) and electrokensis to shock him into submission.

He impressed the bounty hunters with his quick thinking and skills to the point that invited him to join them.  They had taken him on their craft, and on his first mission with them, they were chasing what was to be a low level threat.  But unfortunately for the crew, the bounty was actually a very impressive pirate captain, their ship took heavy damage from the fight, both crafts started to crash into Earth's atmosphere.  The crew tried to make it to the escape shuttles, when a large explosion pushed Lu'kas into the shuttle while the rest of the ship exploded.
