As a Khusenai Perfect, Hannah is treated like a living saint by those who share her heretical faith. Because her sect (or cult) believes the physical world is built of sin, the Perfect eats very little and gives her holy suffering to God on behalf of her community living their materially-based lives. Although she is referred to in the femminine, Hannah is on the Angels' Path and is modifying her flesh to an un-animal state, her breasts and body hair gone to the razor and expertly healed over.

It is known that the Khusenai attempt to help the very lowest in society, and quite possible that Hannah has a hand in food and medical aid being smuggled into the ranks of protesting workers during the recent unrest.
