Kerkrin is obviously a dwarf, thin with a haggard looking beard.  He smells faintly of smoke.   His back is twisted slightly, making it look as if one arm is longer than the other.   He seems thin and wiry for a dwarf.  His manner is a bit gruff, as he spends most of his time alone, and isn't used to dealing with people.
