Wyrran has led a sheltered existence, having always his parents' guidance and support. His older sister married and moved far away 5 years ago, leaving the three of them in their middle-class home. His parents were jewelers, so they could afford their young son not participating in the business and spending time away in his teachers' lab or library.

After a robbery/fire gone bad, his father dead and his mother crippled, Wyrran has only his Art as a means to step up and make something out of the family catastrophe. Bold but inexperienced in the rough life, he cautiously takes his first steps in a tough world.
