Once upon a time, a man took his new bride, and left their home in China, to follow their destiny in another land, far to the West. In due time, the bride became the mother to three children. The middle, elder of their two sons, was full of life and energy. He would run, and play, and best of all, win. His parents sought to channel his energy, help him to focus, but their attempts seemed to be in vain. Until one day, the father's mother came to them. She could guide his energies to focus, and even quietly, as she told him the legends and stories of her home, and of her people. He was an attentive student, and dearly did the boy love his grandmother.

The boy grew, as they are wont to do. A young man of good height, he was rewarded for his energy and propensity to run and play. He was healthy, and athletic, as his competitive edge demanded. To channel his energy as he grew older, he had taken to learning martial arts, and found a new focal point. His skill grew, and his successes in tournaments spoke of his potential to rise higher. Many look on him with pride, and adoration, but I look on him with expectation, for I know his potential has not been met, and his hunger, his lust for life, will not be sated until it is.

Gabriel Peterson goes by Gabe most of the time, although friends and family have been known to use nicknames, sometimes at their peril.

His interests include stories and legends, he is especially fond of those with Chinese origins, and a stay in England gave him an appreciation for Arthurian legend.

Gabe played soccer in high school, but eventually stopped to focus on training for the Tae Kwan Do Tournament when it became apparent he had a chance to compete for the world title.
