Ted is a very large young man, standing at 6'6" and weighing in at about 280 lbs.  He's not sculpted like a bodybuilder, but it's muscle-- he's built like a barrel.  He has very short, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and walnut skin; his hands are calloused, and his nails are short, showing clear signs of hard work.

Unfortunately, he's also very clumsy with those hands. Those fingers are pretty huge, and when he types, he generally hits four keys at once.

Ted has a warm and friendly smile, a positive attitude, and a Texas accent so think that it probably drilled itself for oil.  He prefers to dress very casually, in jeans and either t-shirts or light shirts; when he's being formal, he wears bolo ties to cover for the fact that he's basically incapable of tying one.

Ted is from an old ranching family in Texas; they also have some oil income, which helps them deal with the hardships of the ranching industry.   Ted is very athletic, and very fond of outdoors activities; he's particularly fond of horse riding, but he needs a very strong horse.

He's also surprisingly good at finance.
