Viktor was born to an American Air Force pilot and her German national husband. He attended schools in both Germany and the U.S., giving him English and German as his languages. Upon graduating high school in the U.S., he applied for and was accepted at the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA), where he became an infantry officer in the Marine Corps. After his first term, he was promoted to 1LT and became a platoon commander in Force Recon. He was passed over for CPT during his 2nd and 3rd terms, only to finally receive his second bar shortly before war broke out. Due to his upbringing, he was stationed in Germany, working closely with the U.S. Army and the German Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK). When the whole world went to hell in a handbasket, he made his way home, looking for his family. Traveling from the east coast, he started making his way west. Due to his time growing up in Germany, he is an avid soccer fan and even played during his time at the USNA. He has specialized in target acquisition and identification and has some small knowledge of U.S. aircraft, mostly from the pilot's point of view. Viktor has a contact the the German KSK and 3 other contacts scattered about the U.S.
