Physical description:  Sean is 6'0" 185 lbs.  He's well-muscled and has his hair cropped short.  When on leave he likes to wear tight t-shirts that show off his arms and 6-pack and casual pants modeled after fatigues.  He has brown hair and brown eyes.  He's wearing dirty army camo and carrying a rifle.

Personality description:
Sean is a class clown type: likes to make people laugh and never really took anything serious until enlisting after high school.  He's very dedicated to his job and confidently cocky about being awesome at it.  He still jokes around, but probably wouldn't take the time out anymore to help some young girl play catch when her dad wasn't home.  Avery is his best friend out of persistence, but he also recognizes she's hot and he likes to show her off when he's out.  He's fiercely protective of her even though they are not dating.

Character History: (a brief history of your characters life to date)

Sean grew up next door to Avery.  She was the same age as his younger brother, Kyle, but Avery and Sean always got along better and he frequently took the time out to help her train or learn new sports.  He was a nice kid, but didn't have much in the way of ambition. He helped his dad fix cars, played football and wrestled and was nice to the kid next door.  She was 4 years younger, so was just starting high school when he decided to do something with is life and join the Army.  That might have been the end of their friendship, but Avery was a persistent penpal and the connection to back home, helped Sean through the rough times attendant with military training and deployment.

Sean has done alright for himself in the Army.  He likes it and is dedicated and has gotten himself to the rank of Sergeant, a recent promotion.

His latest leave had coincided with Avery's family going on vacation and she invited him, practically begged him in his opinion, to go.  He booked an air BnB and was enjoying his time and the perks of lots of bikini-clad vacationers looking to hook up.

When the outbreak occurred, he called his senior officer and was directed to the National Guard Armory on the mainland a few miles from the touristy island he'd been vacationing on.  The infrastructure of the army didn't last long.  The unit he had been placed with held out about three months before everything went down.  He stuck it out with some guys there trying to keep a little refugee camp going, but his conscience was eating at him more and more about having left Avery and her parents.   Now he's going back to try and find them, checking the hotel where she was staying first.
