Dirhael is a handsome man in his early 20s. He goes to lengths to dress neatly, looking every bit the Captain of Gondor he is. He is quick to smile and joke, even in the darkest of times. Though he's clearly no stranger to the battlefield, he is somewhat used to the more civilized climes of the White City, and finds "roughing it" here on the frontier simultaneously exhilarating and burdensome.

Dirhael speaks freely of his past. He has met both Orcs and Haradrim in battle (though he is less experienced with threats unique to the North), and once managed to kill an orc with his bare hands. He traveled to Esgaroth with the rest of Gondor's diplomats: by way of the River Anduin, alternately riding or taking river barges, and then through Mirkwood under escort of a company of Wood Elves. His Sister, one of Gondor's diplomats, traveled with them to Esgaroth, though she continued on to Dale after he set out on his adventures, where she represents the interests of Gondor in King Bard's court.


Character departed the party to return to the Wars of Gondor in the spring of the TA 2946
