Gloin is well known in town as one of the surviving Dwarfs that travelled and fought besides the Fallen King Thorin Oakenshield.  Selected by King Dain as his ambassador to Esgaroth he is a common sight in town.

  He usually wears rich white clothes, or clothes with different colors with white trimming, matching the hue of the two points of his forked beard.  He tends to be courteous and fair spoken.
