Jannie would have to be one of the first Harbinger's Children born after the passing since she is almost 25 years old.  It is clear that those years have not been kind to her as she has the scaring from bad burns over much of her body and walks with a very noticeable limp.  She is also missing three fingers off of her left hand and a good chunk of her right ear.

Jannie looks a great deal like a badger but does not appear to have any of that creatures notable ferocity. In fact there is still a cloud of fear in her eyes from some past event and she jumps at any loud noise.

She is the head cook at the Bannoc B&B and seldom leaves the farm.
