Occupation: Warden/also a professor at Brantford University (teaches a bit of science and a bit of history during the day, as well as night classes on things more supernatural in nature)

Age: 34

Appearance: Delilah has long, straight, dark brown hair and deep brown eyes. She is just shy of 5'7" and dresses casually, but still flattering to her subtle feminine curves.

History: Delilah was born to Hunter parents in a small town in Texas. They moved around quite a bit until they finally settled down in Berkshire Valley. Her father, Cyrus, was killed on a job when she was 19. Her mother, Gianna, has been missing for the last 10 years and presumed dead.

Having known no other life than this, Delilah spent most of her time studying and learning about the different forces at work in the world and of the various species that occupied it. Her father was determined to teach her how to defend herself, and hoped she would eventually learn to join the hunt, but Delilah never had the skill set, nor the stomach for that sort of violence. She preferred to learn and protect herself with knowledge.

When her father died, Delilah’s mother threw herself more into her work and was rarely around. Delilah sought out the Wardens and began to help them with menial tasks in exchange for education and access to their libraries of knowledge. She spent the most time with an older Warden named Aerin, who taught her most all that she knows.

Personality: Delilah is first, and foremost, curious. She wants to know and experience everything she can. She loves to throw herself into a book, but craves more hands-on learning whenever available. She wants to understand the why as much as the what or how, and is constantly seeking to understand the psychology behind the motivations between humans and supernaturals alike. She feels it is her life’s calling to gather and decipher knowledge and pass it on to others.

It is rare that Delilah finds someone she doesn’t like and finds connecting with others easy. She cares deeply for others and seeks to do good, not cause harm. Despite her parents having met their demise at the hands of the supernatural world, she does not fear all supernatural beings. She is of the belief that good and evil are present in the choices we make, not in the blood that flows in our veins.

Other: Delilah has always found it easy to fall in love...when you’re deeply curious about the other and seek to know them, it is simple to find something to love in another, no matter how different they originally seem. She has had terrible luck in relationships and has had too many to count--many of them failed loves with non-humans. Her mentor, Aerin, strongly disapproves of her choices and thinks her naive. Despite the number of times she’s been used, betrayed, or wounded, it hasn’t stemmed her curiosity nor has it deterred her from looking for love, connection, and intimacy with the unknown. In fact, it may have only further fueled her desire and she sates her hunger with gathering as much knowledge as she can, through studying or direct experience.
