Sir Gontran

Rumor is that Buchenborg Manor is cursed.  Within the same winter, their mine dried up and their heir, Baldwin, passed away.  The fate of Buchenborg has fallen to the second son, Gontran.  By reputation, Gontran is a simple-minded man who frustrated his tutors by refusing to read; preferring to swing a pickaxe and put in an honest day's work than attend to higher society.  Being the second son, his interests were indulged until his older brother died.

Gontran has only recently begun appearing in public to attempt to fulfill his knightly obligations.  Despite being very reserved, he has surprised many by proving himself a skilled hunter and fighter.
