Description:  Short (for his world), but well-built and muscular from a strict exercise regimen, Josef appears a bit older than his youthful age with intense eyes that sometimes seem to see right through people.  He is dressed in tree-like camouflaged hunter's garb that includes a jacket and trousers with many pockets, long-sleeve tee-shirt, boonie-style hat, boots, gloves and a matching gear vest.
Not just his clothing is odd.  Much of his equipment, while obvious what it is, is strangely designed or made from unusual materials.  His longbow is short, but has the string wound through pulleys nad has an attached quiver that holds six arrows, and his backpack is attached to a frame made of a strong, but flexible resin-like material.  Even his armor is strange, appearing as a thickly padded leather jacket with plates in strategic places that hangs past his waist, a pair of similar gloves that cover his forearms, thick boots with strangely soft soles, and a helmet of some strange material with a smooth piece of smoky glass to cover the face like a visor.  And he also has odd devises that seem like magic as well, though he claims they are not.
