Nine-tailed fox demon

What? Shall I describe myself? Such a boring task. Are you sure you don't want to know about the lotus seed I have managed to coax into bloom? Yes! An actual Lotus seed. It's amazing that it still was able to bloom after all this time.... No? You'd rather...? Okay, since it's you and your missive came from so far away. I am called beautiful every day. It gets so boring, I tell you. There's a thousand other things, no, a million other things more beautiful. My white hair is as long as an ancient Japanese princess would have it. It is an eternal curse that I can't cut it. I am albino, so my skin is as pale as new snow. My brows, lashes, are lily fair. I am envied for the length of my lashes. One young lady said my lashes reminded her of angel wings. If she'd ever seen the terror of an angel at war, she wouldn't describe my lashes as such. But, of course only the four of us met angels... not something I would suggest doing often. Anyway, I am always asked where I'm from originally since I have Asian features, but my eyes are pinkish blue. I came from the Chinese, and was trapped and brought here 200 years ago. I have a sharp jawline and chin, with bowed lips and a small, Asiatic nose. I have been told my cheekbones and jawline make me worthy of painting?

 I wish so much that I was taller, I am thin, frail, tiny. Much to my consternation I was not given my greatest wishes as promised when I got here. Instead that damn monk said "Where there is no fox demon, no village can be established." If I ever find him, I will eat him.

Powers: Zen is a mind reader and has a gift for persuasion. Because of this, they can appear kind, and are usually the life of the party. Under extreme negative emotion, is capable of a powerful mental blast that can kill Humans in a hundred foot radius. Such an expression of emotion leaves them weak for several days, however.

Telepath -  Can read surface thoughts if not touching. Can read your entire history if touching you and you don't have a magic object or ability to block them.. Can communicate telepathically.  As part of this gift, can send a percussive mental blast.

Persuasion... At lowest level can make you like them more. At full blast can make you an obsessive worshipper who will do anything for them. Wipes them out for a day if they do that. Doesn't usually go there because it can backfire on them.

Healer - able to heal disease and up to critical injury. Healing critical injury or life-threatening disease can leave Zen out of the picture for up to 1 game week

 Traditionally, kitsune were vulnerable to faith, blessed weapons, and 'men of the cloth' from religions other than Shinto or Buddhism. Oni (Japanese: 鬼, demon) were said to be able to strip a kitsune's spirit away and devour it with little more than a glance. Within the fandom, these weaknesses are usually glossed over and ignored.

Kitsune can feed on live beings, but also on elements. Whatever is being fed on will weaken, but won't necessarily be destroyed. In the case of live beings they will weaken and become pale. When feeding on elements, the kitsune can snuff out flames, cause the land to dry and crack, water to become still and stale, and sealife to die. Young kitsune may not have a very noticeable effect, but older and more powerful ones could present a considerable problem for the area where they decided to manifest.

Ways to kill a Kitsune

: Eaten by a Dragon or Oni. A Kitsune may escape death from being eaten by other creatures by going to their spirit form and simply passing through them, but Dragon or Oni are an exception. When eaten by Dragons or Oni their spiritual energy (chi) is absorbed and digested to the point that their being is starved and killed.

2: Exorcism. A kitsune can sometimes be destroyed entirely by a particularly powerful exorcism.

3: Blessed or Magical weapons. This is by far the rarest and least known about weakness to kitsune, and is almost entirely dependent upon the interpretation of the individual. Some say blessed weapons act on kitsune like silver on werewolves, others say it can harm them even in spirit form with varying effect, but instances where kitsune are killed by magical or blessed weapons are quite rare, and are pretty much unheard of compared to the other two.

Personality

Ah, I enjoy the finer things in life, and beauty, and studying love. I cannot love. I don't have that drive to love something, or to feel deep passion for anything. But, I do like to have pretty things around me, for as long as they stay. People come for my beauty, and leave because I am as cold as I am white.

I am both yin and yang, Pretty. Male and Female. I can switch don't you know?

I'm quite lazy, except when I'm gardening or making my figures. I have to show you the lovely statues I make. I'll make a dancing ballerina for you when you come see me. I've no desire to rule the humans or be powerful... but I do like secrets, because secrets can lead to things that I want. I'm greedy, what can I say? Do you hate me for it? If it means I can do whatever I want, aren't knowing secrets good for that?
