The Stuntman

PRE: 20

The Stuntman wears a trench coat directly invoking Neo's look from The Matrix, and wears a set of shades meant to hide his eyes. He has a single bandage on his left cheek, hiding a tiny scar. But of course, there is no way this man could be Ansel Moreau, star of the acclaimed Hunter series, the male lead of the short-lived and awful soap opera Forbidden Fruit, and that one French guy in DEFCON II: Sergei's Revenge who had all the acting skill of a block of wood, and yet stole the movie with his one fight scene, popular enough to make a return as the lead in the next film, DEFCON III: M.A.D.

Nor could he be Tex Walken, museum assistant who generally has a knack for disappearing when trouble shows up.

Legendary: Dexterity, Innate Combative Skill, Speed, Recovery, Sprinting
Superhuman: Leaping

Known current capabilities
Quick and dangerous with firearms and bludgeons: He sometimes errs, but he is still capable of discharging a semi-automatic weapon as submachine gun speeds. (see Center Axis Relock Training below)
Mild Genetic Modification: We are surprised Doctor Moreau didn't give him more extensive modifications than mere enhanced leaping, running, and the ability to heal from extensive damage within a day. Limitations, however, do not permit limbs to be regrown, nor do they restart failed respiratory processes. (see below for Moreau Connection)
Abnormal Fortune: He has evaded long stays in jail simply due to events being weird around him. Low-powered Entropy suppression is advised should PRIMUS get involved with him again.
Escrima/CAR Training: He stayed in the Phillipines for a time, working for Doctor Moreau for a while as a retriever. He also had a private firing range where he drove several trainers into quitting as he emulated movie shooting, until he could do it despite it being technically impossible to fire weapons accurately that way. This might be a side effect of the fortune above.
Identity: Oddly enough, we do not know who he actually is.

Status:
Overconfident and with a knack for rubbing others the wrong way, L'assaillant is effectively another "Bulldozer," someone with more mouth than sense, but capable of being extremely dangerous on a personal level if one forgets he is technically metahuman. He apparently tried and failed to hunt several superheroes in the past, with the footage of the Ironclad "hunt" being actually circulated against Department policy as a source of humor, as his growing frustration inspired him to hurt himself more than Ironclad. He was only dangerous after he pulled some kind of strings with Doctor Moreau and got genetically modified, although Moreau seems to bear him neither ill will nor regard, responding with "Who?" when asked by an agent.
Even then, he was not the most dangerous member of the Stalker Six by a long shot. That honor went to

, the talented and dangerous illusionist in their ranks who truly led the group from the back and nearly killed several heroes. He did, however, betray them one day and scattered the group.
According to the source in the Southwest Sentinels, they blamed him for the last failure, and he took it poorly. Interestingly, he was far more dangerous and ruthless dealing with his former teammates then he was in any prior hunt against superheroes. Afterwards, he dispatched a cell of Tezcatlipoca-backed smugglers in Arizona, and we have the word of one of the Southwest Rangers that he has turned over a new leaf as "The Stuntman."
He has had run-ins with Green Dragon and Howler, and has earned the ire of both of them. All evidence seems to suggest this "Stuntman" is sincere, if a bit wild in his pursuit of justice. (Addendum: Lin Chow seems to be involved with these incidents of battle between the Stuntman and Green Dragon - she might be the key to uncovering The Stuntman's identity.)
The department recommends no new action be taken, conditional on his continued goodwill with the Crusaders.
