Nicu is one of the son's of the Caravan Leader, he is twenty eight years old and dresses truly flamboyantly, he is the teacher of many of the caravan's warrior's. In particular he is Roran's mentor, and has taught him much of his antics.

Nicu is respectful, but some what vain he is very good look and charismatic (Chr 20). He is well liked by the people of the caravan, and can not explain his attraction to Chimes Laieshi.
