SFC Jackson Stone

Personal Details

Name: Jackson (Jack) Stone

Age: 37

Gender: Male

Colony of Birth: Sagittaron

Hair Colour: Brown

Eye Colour: Hazel-Green

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 205LBS

General Physical Description:
Jackson is a fairly average man. Clocking in at 6'1" and 205LBS, he is not exceptionally large or small by any means, but is quite fit. Being lean yet muscular, he has the toned musculature of a trained soldier.

Jackson has short, brown hair and keeps a roughly trimmed beard. While he is not incredibly handsome, or unattractive for that matter, his hazel-green eyes and playful smile can be quite charming at times. While Jackson is most often seen in his uniform, in his down time he dresses for utility rather than comfort or style.

Personality:
Put simply, Jackson is kind of...well, he's kind of an ass. With his sarcastic attitude, dry sense of humor and his rough appearance, Jackson is an acquired taste. He does not always make the best first impressions, but seems to recover the second time around.

Despite his attitude and general lack of refinement, Jackson is loyal to a fault, to those he holds close to heart. He would die before putting one of his friends or loved ones at risk.

Once you get past the rough, brooding exterior, Jackson is a likable guy.

Likes:
Jackson is a simple man, enjoying the simple things in life- good music, good food and good friends. He enjoys his alone time, but also likes to spend his down time with those he has grown close to.

Above all, Jackson enjoys being on-mission. He likes having a goal, something to push his limits and drive him to become a better and stronger person.

Dislikes:
- Disloyal, dishonest and disengenuous people.

- Officers abusing their command.

- Ignorance. You've heard that old saying, 'the blind leading the blind'. Yeah...he doesn't want any of that. He will not willingly follow an officer that he believes to be, for lack of a better word, stupid. Ignorance may be bliss, but it also leads to unnecessary casualties.

- Jackson is not the type of man to kowtow to superior officers that he does not respect or trust. Jackson is not inherently insubordinate, but he will not follow a officer's commands if he does not believe that they are following the safest and most logical path, when giving orders. He will not allow himself to be used as cannon fodder.

Hobbies:
To be determined. Throughout his early life, Jackson found it difficult to become his own man. Born and raised in a culture, a belief system, that he did not believe in, he always had to act the part of the loyal Sagittarion before leaving to join the Colonial Military at the age of 18. Over the years in service, he has picked up a few habits, but nothing he would consider hobbies. Jackson is just now beginning to feel like himself, learn who he is without using society as a crutch. He's finally getting a taste of freedom, of independence, and he likes it.

History and Background

Jackson Stone, son of Andrea and Jonathan Stone, was born on the world of Sagittaron. The Stone family were Sagittarions through and through, shunning modern medicine and avoiding the Colonial Military at all costs, leaning into their pacifist ways.

Even from his early years of childhood, Jackson knew he was different than the others. He didn't follow their beliefs, or care for their sacred scripture. He was an outsider, but through the years he learned to blend in, to play the part.

However, when he turned eighteen, he left and never looked back. Jackson fled the planet, but had nowhere to go, no money, no plan. Left with little else to do, he enlisted in the Colonial Military. It wasn't long after finishing his training, that he had decided to stay, to make a career out of his service, rather than serve a few years and retire. He had grown to like the direction it offered, the discipline.

Over the past 19 years, he's seen plenty of action. War torn and battle weary, Jackson is well past his prime, but still strong, waiting for his last battle. Until then, he serves to the best of his ability.
