General Physical Description: Sean was already well-groomed given his high society upbringing on Caprica, the military only enhanced that. His uniform is always spotless, his hair neatly trimmed and is clean shaven. In high school and college he was on the swim team and still maintains a swimmer’s physique.

Personality

Sean is a very serious individual when on duty. He takes the law as his life’s mission, and will not hesitate to voice his opinion to more senior officers if he believes they have stepped outside the law. He strongly believes no man is above the law and that it is the only thing that keeps society from degenerating into chaos. Off-duty, he enjoys an occasional drink especially good vintages of wine. He has found it difficult to make friends in the military as many dislike him for his occupation, as most will only meet him when things in their lives have gone bad and they’ve crossed a line and broken the law.

History and Background

Sean McNaire was born on Caprica, son of wealthy lawyers (Alex and Jane McNaire) belonging to a top firm. His grandfather served as an officer in the Navy during the Cylon War, a bridge officer. When he finished service he partnered with other veterans in a Naval technology company which became quite lucrative. His uncle (Justin McNaire) currently runs the company. Sean had many options in schooling and his future, so he chose to meld his grandfather and father’s fields and join the JAG corps.

He first attended the prestigious Caprica University Law School where he graduated with honors, before undergoing the intensive months long military justice and law courses after first attending basic officer training. His current plan is to serve another couple years, then join the family company as their general counsel.
