General Physical Description: Barber can usually be found in his fatigues even off duty. His hair has always been long, even tho he's repeatedly been requested to have it cut. Short of a direct order, he'll keep his hair long. Regardless, if need be, he'll put it up into a ponytail or a bun.

Barber retains a full-body tribal tattoo that he has had work done on since he entered the service. It was a small matter of pride for him.

Personality: Quick wit. Will fallow orders to the T, but has no problem socializing with those below him. His mouth sometimes gets him in trouble with the higher ups. When it comes down to it, it's duty before pleasure.

Likes: Fire, Explosions, Big Guns, Carving, Playing a Guitar, Poi (the food and the activity)

Dislikes: Redundancies and Rube Golberg solutions for simple problems.

Hobbies: Playing music with his guitar. Carving various items out of wood that he collects.

History and Background

Barber came from a simple family on the Libran colony. Tho those around him embraced what the rest of the colony was good at, Barber didn't fit into those grooves. He spotted a soldier when he was younger. Ever since then he felt the call to service, feeling that he would always do more if in that sort of setting.

At a young age, Barber made his way to the enlistment office where he placed his name down on the Marine Recruiter's board: Ikaika Ekewaka. Desired MOS: Heavy Weapons Combat Engineer. With that, he was whisked away. It wasn't all that crazy a time. In fact he almost fell out of the military at some point. He noticed that the military wasn't what he had originally thought it was when he was a child. But, some words of wisdom from his family sent him on the right path. Firstly into his second Specialty MOS, then after excelling, into the Officer Ranks.

It was during his time as a Explosives Combat Engineer that he acquired his nickname Barber. A few close calls, and some incendiaries later, his platoons found themselves in a state of hairless-ness. Hence the name, Barber.
