She has hazel eyes that can light up when she laughs and mixed with her soft features give a look of vulnerability. However, if you look close enough you can see self-reliance and defiance at seeming weak in those eyes. She also has 4 tattoos: 3 not visible under normal circumstances (the rune symbol for Freya on her left hip, a dolphin on her right hip, and a fairy with the word believe underneath it on her right ribs), 1 can be seen if she's wearing a tank top (unicorn on her left shoulder blade).

She carries a pocket knife with a 5-inch blade on her, usually on her belt.

Background:
Janessa was raised on a cattle ranch 20 miles north of Cheyenne, Wyoming by her mother and adoptive dad. She never met her biological father and her mother refused to talk about him. She has two younger half-brothers. Most call her Jan for short, Nessa is reserved for family, close friends, and lovers. She has worked for Cheyenne, Wyoming parks and recreation department, parks division, for 6 years. She's a former barrel racer and loves horses. She volunteers every year at The Cheyenne Frontier Days (10 day-long festival with rodeo events). Her parents converted a small barn into a 1 bedroom house for her on the ranch. She has 10 acres to herself and has a four-stall barn by the house.

Personality:
Sweet and sassy country girl. Momma hennish at times. Easy going, open-book type. Book worm. Loves the outdoors (goes camping whenever she can). Hardworking, with a strong work ethic. Cool, calm, and collected under pressure (though when pissed she's a hellion with the mouth of a sailor). Overly macho types, especially the 'you're a girl so you can't take care of yourself' type, really annoy the crap out of her (thus being single in a cowboy town).
