Detective Jackson is exactly what one expects from a career cop. Straightforward, well-put together and with a wooden personality bereft of nuance. He dresses sharply and professionally, and his manner is charismatic in the same way a clock is right twice a day. Enough to get the job done, but more than often just wrong.
