Dean stands close to 6 feet tall.  His muscles are lean and compact.  Piercing grey eyes with more than a few wrinkle lines make him look older than his age.
Without them, he might appear to be in his early to mid 30s.  His skin is well tanned, showing most of his life has been spent outdoors.  Dressed in lightweight gear meant to blend in, the other notable feature is fairly obvious when he isn't wearing a hat to protect from the elements.  He is bald as an egg.

His gear is light.  Some well worn clothing, meant to blend in.  A small pack, with a quiver of bolts and a crossbow along with a knife on his hip was almost all he carried.
