Introduction
Growing up an orphan in Almas, the capitol of Andoran, wasnt always easy but Eleena knew it was a far better place than many others. While she did have to filch a bit of food or coin here and there, she did manage to do well enough on her own those first few months. She learned to observe and only did the filching from those who were mean and had far more than they required. Still she found herself in quite a few scrapes now and then, leading to another bit of skill with bandaging wounds and sprains.
Though she didnt know it at first, there was a reason she seemed to have a bit of divine abilities. It was after a talk with a priest of Sarenrae that she finally understood why her eyes were silver and she had a healing touch. She was not human but in fact was Aasimar. Knowing it didnt make things any better and she just learned to accept her lot in life. There were ideals of many gods that she clung to and most of all she always wished she could do something to help the poor and downtrodden.
She was recruited by The Golden Hearted for her skill as both a healer and a sneak. She had no idea just how much that would change her life but she continues to learn and grow, continues to do all she can to help those in need.
The Church
First and foremost, the Church of the Healing Blade is a hospital. Anyone can receive healing there, though it is predominantly for the poor. Donations are accepted but not required and if someone is inclined to give, it doesnt have to be coin. Food and clothing that can be shared with the community is always welcome.
Paladin Code
There really arent any paladins as sometimes there are things that must be done that are outside of the legal system.
Temple & Shrines
Again, there arent any fancy temples or shrines, but rather plain and simple buildings set up for the treatment of illnesses and injuries.
A Priests Role
Priests are always trained in the healing arts, whether mundane or magical. Any who are of good alignment and feel the calling to help the poor are welcomed into the ranks.
Adventurers
While the church focuses mostly on healing, most of the adventurers involved are rogues and thieves of a good alignment. While many of their endeavors are not considered legal, there are circumstances that make them a good fit.
Clothing
Black and silver are the favored colors.
Holy Texts
There are no holy texts just yet, though Eleena and a few of her priests are working on the basics of one.
Holidays
Each New Moon is considered a holy time but the first New Moon of the Winter Solstice is the only holiday.
