Life before the outbreak:
Lawrence North was a career marine. He joined at 17 and went to war in the middle east as a scout sniper. During the battle of Fallujah in Iraq he racked up an impressive 92 confirmed kills earning himself a bronze star. Towards the end of the siege North was wounded when an Iraqi RPG struck the wall of his hide and shrapnel chewed most of the left side of his face to hamburger meat. He would have been overrun and captured or killed if not for the quick and decisive actions of his partner and spotter.



  Peyton "Gun Bunny" Beckett was a Marine through and through. North was impressed with her commitment and skill despite the flak she received for being a woman in the sniper corps. She always did her job without belly aching about it. And truth be told she had a great ass to stare at to pass the countless hours hidden and waiting.



 After his 8th combat tour he rotated home as an instructor at the marine sniper school. When his enlistment was up he accepted his DD-214 and was discharged. He used his savings and opened a small firing range and gun shop he named The Rogue Gunfighter, where he worked as a gunsmith and firearms instructor. He enjoyed his semi retirement and having no family of his own usually slept at the shop on a cot in a converted storage room which Beckett always gave him flak for. She always told him no respectable woman would want a man who slept in a gun shop. At least she still chuckled when he always replied that he didn't want a respectable woman... He already had her.

  That was his life. A life he was content with until the day everything changed...
