Brightflower is the daughter of Bulster Brewer and his wife Bertha. Both died in the Great Winter. Her brother Barayo left Apple Lane 15 years ago to be a mercenary in the Holy Country, where he is rumored to be a mercenary captain.

With her father, mother, and husband all dead, Brightflower now manages the inn and serves as the brewer. She is famed for her fruit and barley wines.
