"Don't touch that.  Just sit over there by the fire controls."

Buzz Corey's hair is a pale shade of premature grey, even considering that she's nearly middle aged.  The stray hairs are stark against her black uniform.  The gold accents match her goggles, coated to diminish solar glare and containing a heads-up display for whatever vehicle she's piloting.

"Take that drink back to the mess hall.  If you spill it on those navigation consoles, we may never make it out of the asteroid belt alive."

Capable at the controls of nearly any vehicle with a cockpit, Buzz has been flying Danger Patrol agents around for nearly two decades.  And you don't get to be an old pilot unless you're good or lucky.  Buzz is both.

"What do you mean you didn't refuel the blazin' shuttle?!  It was your only blazin' job, scrub!"

Except with people.  Buzz isn't really ... lucky or good with people.
