PHYSICAL

Face Claim: Alessandro Dellisola

Hair: Chocolate Brown

Eyes: Dark Blue

Height: 6'2

Physical Description: Remus resembles his father with the same thick dark brown hair (and golden highlights) that hair is almost always a little tousled, and he in the past six months after leaving cut off his shoulder-length locks for something shorter. He is never clean shaven, preferring a constant scruff that varies in length.

His eyes are dark blue, a trait he inherited from his grandfather Adarian. Remus stands about six two and has a toned and athletic physique. Something he is proud of and works to maintain.

Remy has always been a bit reckless. As a kid, he was always getting into trouble and has suffered his share of scraps and broken bones. He also played beater position for his house team in school and took a job as an Auror after. It's fair to share he's got some nice scars and marks to remind him of various shenanigans.

Remy is a casual kinda guy. Jeans. Jackets. T-shirts. Boots. Those items are his go-to for clothing choices. He can clean up and does when the occasion calls for it or its requested of him. But overall, he prefers his comfortable and casual outfits.

EMOTIONAL

Personality Description:

If his father was a mischevious lad, Remus took that and doubled it. From childhood, this boy was always finding something to get into. Climbing trees, and pulling pranks. He was constantly in motion and had difficulty settling down to do things that required long periods of focus.

Remus enjoys teasing people, this has been part of who he is since he was a kid. He was a bit mean at times, not always understanding that the people he was teasing might not like it. He enjoys getting a rise from others, and baiting them into reacting a certain way. This hasn't changed.

Remus's father made sure to pass on the lessons his own mother had taught him growing up. He made sure to teach him to have integrity and courage. To be respectful and have excellent manners.

First one into the fire, and the last one out. Remus often acts without thinking and doesn't seem to be able to resist stepping in when someone is in trouble. While he will leap in to help someone else, Remus often prefers to walk a more solo and isolated path when it comes to his own issues. It isn't really anything personal against anyone, he just prefers to face his own demons one on one.

Remus is incredibly stubborn, can be unmovable when he sets his mind to something. His stubbornness and childhood defiance was a source of struggle between him and the adults in his life. Protective. He is the guy you want at your back in a bad situation, and he'll go above and beyond for people he values and cares about.

Remus has always had the urge to see things outside his home turf. It's why as an adult he's more than willing to travel for the order. Short notice or not, he'll pack his bags and hit the road without a backward glance.

<Serif>
Background/History:

Remus is the only son of Tristan Morgenstern and Isolde Sayre. He was born in 1996, two years before the second wizarding war came to an end at the Battle of Hogwarts. His mother Isolde was killed shortly before that fateful day, and he was raised by his father with a lot of very generous help from his father's best friends.

After the war, there was a nice golden period of peace and hope within the wizarding world. Remus was fortunate enough to spend his childhood enjoying a world like this. It was a good childhood, he grew up tormenting Sephora, and building boys only clubhouses with Sebastian. He had the run of Diagon Alley when he and his father decided to actually stay home at their small apartment. Weasely's Joke Shop was like his third home, and he got some pretty inventive tips from the prank gods themselves.

They spent every holiday at the Wildes, and plenty of summers exploring the huge estate. When Remy was about eight years old, he was allowed to go visit his mother's family for a few weeks one summer. His father accompanied him that first time and stayed for a while before leaving him to get to know the Sayre's. It went well, and Remus was able to develop a relationship with his grandparents and uncles.

For the most part, The Sayre's respected Tristan's authority. Until Remus was eleven, and there was a brief stormy period when Remy's mother's family tried to insist that he attend Ilvermorny instead of Hogwarts. But when September 1st rolled around, Remus got on the Hogwarts Express and was sorted into Gryffindor like his father. The Sayre's kept in touch over the years, mostly through letters, the occasional summer visit and plenty of goodies while he was at school.

School was fun for Remy. He's smart and driven but probably spent a little to much time goofing off and getting stuck in detention. Like his uncles before him. Most of his friends were Ravenclaws, so he developed a second social group among like-minded Gryffindors.  Basically, he was a lot of trouble in school, especially during the first four years.

As he got older, his father started training him outside of school. He never got into the details behind this decision, but Remus was exposed to spells, and techniques that were quite advanced for a thirteen-year-old wizard. These extra lessons lasted until he graduated in 2014. That was also the year he and his dad, and the entire Wilde clan attended the Quidditch World Cup. In school, Remus played beater on the Quidditch team, and there was a small moment in his life when he considered going professional. But ultimately, he stuck with the career he'd decided he'd wanted since he was a kid.

Auror.

But despite how good his life was, there were sour moments. The hardest came in 2013 when a freak explosion killed one of his good friends and the love of Sephora's life at that time. Oliver might have been his little Ace's boyfriend but the guy was also a good friend of his and his death frankly pissed him off. Shit like that shouldn't happen to good people. He did his best to be there for Sephora and Sebastian while dealing with mourning Ollie in his own time, on his own terms.  It was during this time that his slightly antagonistic relationship with Sephora took a turn, and they became close quickly. Nowadays, he considers her his best friend.

After Hogwarts, and once he finished Auror training. His father brought him into the Order as an official member.  That has been his life ever since. He helps out with recruitment and travels to meet allies in the United States (with some help from The Sayres) While in the USA, he often stays with his mother's people, getting to know them better. In London, he's either at the small flat he shares with his dad or invading the Wilde's giant estate.

As Aurors, Remus and his father often worked together, though his dad was of higher ranking. Because they both walked a dangerous path, it was understood between them that something could happen, and they both knew they'd have to be prepared to face it. Remus knew one day his father might be taken, or hell, that he might. But seeing it as some vague possibility, and having to deal with the reality of it are two completely different things.

When his dad died, Remus had been out enjoying the nightlife of the wizarding world. He'd been unaware of the mission his father had taken with Felix. He'd had no clue his father had been killed until he was found and told. Remus had no idea how to process the news, his first action was to head to the Wilde Estate and demand the truth from his Uncle, who he learned had ben the last person to see his father alive.

Had also been the only man who knew who his father's killer was.

The days following were a blur of sad faces, and a newspaper article talking about his dad the hero, who died in service of the ministry. As far as he knows, anyone outside the order believes this. The funeral came and went, and when he wasn't at the Wildes estate (he'd been avoiding the flat he now had all on his own) he was at bars or spending time with Sephora and Sebastian.

When he was presented with the chance to do some work for the order. He jumped at it. It'd take him away from London for a while, and he needed the distance. So, he went to America, but not before seeing Sephora once more to say goodbye. He'd already done the usual round with everyone else, but as his best friend, she deserved something a bit more personal.

Now six months have passed, and Remus is finally returning, having been summoned by Felix. It's time to get to work, and Remus is looking forward to doing more than just information gathering, and talking
