Zijan is a tall, well-built woman with very even, symmetrical features, smooth skin the color of obsidian, very short dark blue hair, who wears pale, cream-colored hooded robes. She usually has a serene expression, except when speaking with people, when she becomes very animated and interested in what people have to say.

While alone or with only a few people, Zijan often shows a very calm countenance and speaks little, but when within a community, Zijan seems to truly come alive.  She seeks out quarreling parties like plants seek sunlight, ready with stories to bridge gaps and find solutions. Those paying close attention might realize that her stories change slightly between communities, as do the names of "parents", "siblings", or "friends" she references.  She seems to find completion and purpose in healing the rifts between people, as if disharmony and disarray was a glitch in a system she constantly needs to solve.
