Takeshi is often sloppily dressed and smells less than pleasant. He seems not to care too much about such things and cares little that others may find it unpleasant.

His first love is for his magic. He relishes the feeling of it coursing through his body and being able to control it, probably a bit more than he should.

The mornings find him sleeping late, his love of sake making it difficult to do otherwise, and whenever the situation allows for it he can be found in the company of questionable women, his third passion in life.

He is frugal with his funds if not being spent on one of his three passions. This, of course, means it is difficult for him to save very much.

While he has many flaws Takeshi would give a friend the shirt off his back.
He has a flair for story-telling and gets very deep when in emotional conversations.

Takeshi initially learned metal and wood magics at the Singon Monastery, this is where his loyalties lie. As such he was entrenched in the Buddhist mindset and considers himself one. He also studied water magic at the Paka Ryn, a point of contention with many of his teachers at the monastery.

He plans to continue studying school of metal and school of water.
