Toda is a massive, mildly klutzy man who sometimes doesn’t think before he acts, and sometimes moves faster than his perceptions of the world can keep up.  While when he trips over kimono trying to get up from kneeling is funny, people have found his sense of humor is often tone-deaf.  He is strong as an ox but his speech patterns often gives him away as a country lout – even if samurai.

He wears Partial Heavy Samurai armor, wears his uncle’s dia-sho (both hilts look beat and worn), and shoulders a dai-kyu so thick you would think it bent from a full grown bamboo tree.  He is sadly childlike in personality, if not in stature.

Toda is a loyal family retainer.  Honorable when he understands what is expected.  He does whatever is asked of him so far, without thought of the future.  It is debatable if he’s capable of thinking of the future.  Most of his life is completely spent in the moment.  He likes brawls more than women, sparing more than drills, and breaking things more than building things – all because these are instant gratification things.  It helps that he’s good at them.  What little aspirations he has at this point usually consists of where the next entertainment might be found.
