Grand Master Alfric Oderbry

Grand Master Alfric Oderbry is a zealot.  The Church does have them, in spades, and this particular one has been slowly gaining traction with the high ranking priests in Karameikos.  His belief that the Church must convert the blaspheming Taladaran populace by force (or else), and his perception of the Duke as weak, feeble, and a sinner for not doing so has won him many enemies.  He cares not though, for he knows he is in the right, and will be repaid for his faith after his death.   His martial skills and fanaticism has won him the position of the Grand Master of Crystal Order directly from the High Patriarch in Thyatis - despite Olliver Jowett's objections.   Alfric now concentrates on building his power base, recruiting and advancing like minded knights to the  order, and patiently waiting for the old Jowett to pass away.  Once that happens, he will be ready to strike down all the enemies of the Church
