Aleksyev Nikelnevich

Aleksyev is a forty-five year old Traladaran Priest.  His father, too, was a priest.  Aleksyev was only fifteen years old when Duke Stefan arrived to rule 'his' lands,  and he saw first hand his parents, family, and participants in the rebellion perish before his eyes.   Embittered by what he saw, he threw himself into the Faith with new found zeal, hoping to one day wield enough powers to drive the invaders away from Traladaran shores.  His clerical studies. growing emotional maturity, and surprisingly cordial relations with Oliver Jowett had wrought a change in him; he gradually became dedicated to the idea of Traladara regaining its Golden Age through peaceable means and directed faith.  Presently, he is still determined that Traladaran blood rule over the land again, but he thinks this should be done by peaceable assimilation of the Thyatian population into the Traladara. He still carries bitterness against the Duke for the death of his parents, but does not conspire against the man or use his political sway to damage the royal family. He is actually rather fond of Olliver Jowett, but knows he has a true enemy in Grand Master Alfric
