His eyes are bright blue, but their slightly narrowed shape makes him appear introspective at times. Distinguishing Features: Most would consider his light blue eyes his most distinguishing feature. He also always has on him his mokeskin pouch, used to collect anything of interest he happens to comes across. Though he always keeps it tucked under his shirt, he wears a necklace with globe and binoculars pendants on it.

The Personal

Personality Description: Jackson is the sort that is always looking out for the opportunity to experience something new. He greets each new day as a challenge to meet someone new or see something he has yet to see, helping him better himself through his experiences. His is always glad to introduce himself with a smile, accompanied by some friendly words or a joke, but don’t expect him to stand still too long. However, even as he’s running toward the next adventure, don’t think he will have forgotten that encounter. No, each and every person he meets, each new thing he sees will always hold significance for him.

While he is always quick to share his more adventurous side, that which makes him a Pukwudgie is not always as evident. He is fiercely loyal and protective of his friends, even those he has merely bumped into in the halls. He enjoys every adventure life throws his way, but, should the need arise, he will be the first to ready his wand to defend those around him.

Goals: To never stop experience new things or meeting new people

Likes: Exploring new areas, meeting new people, flying, Quodpot, Charms, dark chocolate

Dislikes: Putting others in danger, brussel sprouts, potions, the library

History: Jackson grew up the only child of his No-Maj parents. His mother, Barbara Whitlock, is the local pharmacist in Tumwater, while his father, Nathaniel Whitlock, runs a small medical practice in town. He had a pleasant childhood, all things considered. Because of his parent’s success, he was rarely left wanting of anything, though they did their best not to spoil him. Though they tried to spend as much time as possible with him,  they both worked long hours which left him under the care of the elderly woman, living next door, who he grew quite attached to and affectionately referred to as Nana May. She was a sweet, loving woman who cared for him and shared with him a desire to see the world.

When he turned 11, to his surprise and to the surprise of his parents, a letter arrived for Jackson. A letter that told him he was a wizard and had been accepted to a wizarding school. Filled with excitement at the possibilities, he ran next door to show Nana May. As he entered her home, he quickly spotted her on the floor, the life having left her body hours earlier. Filled with equal parts sadness for her loss, excitement for the possibilities granted him as a wizard, and determined to live a life that Nana May would be proud of, he packed his belongings up and, with his parents assistance, made the journey to Ilvermorny.

As he made his way with other new students into the entrance hall for the first time, they were told what each house represented. Jackson listened intently and, as soon as he stepped into the Gordian Knot symbolized on the ground, the wings of the Thunderbird stretched and flapped. The Thunderbird students thunderously applauded, but Jackson’s attention was purely on the Pukwudgie carving. After a few prolonged moments following the initial applause, the Pukwudgie raised his arrow into the air, and Jackson quickly confirmed his desire to be a Pukwudgie.

During his last 6 years at Ilvermorny, Jackson has learned much, experienced things he could only have ever dreamed. He's seen creatures of fantasy, magic that could make your head spin, and plants whose shriek could literally kill a person. As he approaches his last year, he hopes to find the last of the secrets hidden behind the doors of Ilvermorny, but, more importantly, wants to learn what it might take to one day become a healer. Whenever he chooses to slow down, anyway.
