Maxx appears to be in his late 20's early 30's.  Although he smiles easily, he has a haunted look in his eyes, as though he carries a great burden.  He can usually be found tinkering with various mechanical items such as engines, clocks, carriages, cars.  There is generally always a wrench or screwdriver sticking out of the back pocket of his blue jeans.  He favors t-shirts, sweatshirts, sneakers and his leather jacket.  His dog, Diesel, is seldom far from him.
