A non-descript man of no particular color, Benedictus has sad, wise eyes and a gentle demeanor. He is young but his shoulders stoop under some unseen burden.  Ben has dark hair which he wears fairly long and deep-set dark eyes. He wears a worn cloak over studded leather armor and carries a warhammer and shield across his back.

He is the youngest son of a minor noble, sent away to be a priest of St. Cuthbert. During the trip, he decided to head into the Rakers instead where his god found and recruited him. Now Benedictus wants only to return to the quiet of the  mountains but knows he must first prove himself and spread word of his god's regard for the people of the region.
