A young adult human standing several inches shy of six feet in height, he has a build that is athletic more than muscled, hearty but graceful. His dark brown hair is long but generally tied up, but almost always looks tousled from the wind or just moving around a lot. He usually has a beard or the beginnings of one, and his skin is lightly tanned from time outdoors - and when he's not wearing his robes, he is covered in a large amount of tattoos of various creatures, weapons and symbols. His dark brown eyes are expressive and a smile is often quick to his lips. He wears fairly plain but comfortable robes, a pair of sturdy boots, a rice hat when the sun or weather demands it, a longsword on his hip, and a shortbow on his back along with an empty quiver. Around his neck is a necklace that seems well-made but ugly, twisting metal in a strange shape around what might be a beautiful ruby but it's not easy to tell since it's so hard to see.
