Personality: Energetic, aggressive, obsessed with explosives and fire, loyal to death, almost manic in her mood swings from depressed and gloomy to high enthusiasm

Strengths: Demolitions. Combat. Commando work

Weaknesses: Staying quiet. Keeping her opinion to herself. Unable to tolerate racism or sexism.

Fears: Criticism, tight places, boredom

History: Companion of the Seventh Doctor, Earth born but whisked away by a time storm to the planet of Svartos, where the Doctor finds her when she is 16 years old

Ace eased into the padded bench, wiggling her hips trying to get comfortable in a seat not necessarily designed for her human anatomy as she sipped a mildly euphoric, mildly hallucinogenic cocktail and grinned at the handsome stranger.

"I'd read this book, see, by a science fiction writer that explained how to make an explosive mixture out of tincture of iodine and ammonia. Farnham's whatsit, or something.

"The writer said it got unstable when it dried, but he had a funny idea about unstable. Man if you even looked at that stuff cross-eyed it went off with a bang. Hah! Blew the gazebo at my school clear off it's foundations. But it was too dangerous to use for real.

"That's when I started experimenting with nitroglycerin. I thought I'd blown myself up when the time storm got me. But I just ended up in a dead end job on Iceworld. Right boring that was. 'Til the Professor came along and found me. Been pretty much fun since then, watching out for the old codger.
