Information: Before the virus spread, Doctor Theodore Collins was well-known for several breakthroughs in his field of Neurology.   He enjoyed his job and was the type of doctor that made an impact on his patients.  When the viral breakout happened he did everything in his power to get his family to a safe house. It was during their time traveling that his wife and daughter both contracted the virus.  His daughter died a few days after exposure and his wife was one of those that mutated into something else.  She was left behind and to this day he often wonders what happened to her.

Or, so he says.

Like so many, he had little time to grieve because he was doing everything to survive (even if death sounded more appealing.) He is also one of those that contracted the virus but experienced the opposite effect. His abilities manifested into increased endurance, which has come in handy during the last ten years as he creates the sanctuary for those that have been affected by the virus, too.

Theodore's main Gift is the ability to absorb other individual's life force. He can absorb energy, vitality,and health, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as power source either temporarily or permanently.

As many Gifts are derived from life force, Theodore may be able to absorb them from the targets. Any attacks derived from Gifts are also vulnerable to this ability, as the energy and matter produced contain the user's life force, which can be drained and rendering the attack useless. An extended drain may result in extended or permanent effects or even death.

Theodore has to physically be touching an individual to draw their energy and health out of their system, because of that, he has no physical contact with anyone.  Even in the warmer weather, he tends to overdress, keeping as much of his skin covered as possible.  When he is meeting new people or around others that are not yet familiar with his Gift, then he wears a pair of thin, black gloves that has The League's emblem on them in crimson.

The past ten years every moment of every day has been spent building, working, and training those that come into the Campbell Compound or sending out the League to rescue those that are in need of assistance.

Theodore Collins believes that the powers the Gifted harness have always been with them, they were just dormant until the virus touched their system.
