Briana is the princess royal of Ulthea and is beloved by all the people. She has platinum blonde hair and pale violet eyes with flecks of silver, hinting at some distant fae ancestry.

Briana has managed to avoid the cruelty and tyranny of her father, and cares for the people of the kingdom and tries to alleviate their suffering. She can present a cold facade, but is in fact very warmhearted.

She is equally at home in flowing gowns of the court as she is in breeches and astride a horse. She's done archery ever since she was old enough to hold a bow in her hands. She even managed to convince her brother Robin to teach her swordplay, and was often found fighting with shadows and trees.

She is considered a great beauty and is slender and swan-like with a natural grace in her movements and is quick to laugh- the sound like silver bells. She also has a lovely singing voice and plays the hurdy-gurdy.

As the older of the two daughters, Briana has always known what her duty is to the kingdom, and has a wilful- one might say wild streak.
