Jerome comes from New Orleans, where his dad owns and operates a shrimp boat. He intended to become a chef, but got swept up in the war effort (hoping that GI benefits would pay for culinary school..) and has somehow found himself in middle Europe wondering just how he'll ever manage to get home.

For recreation he cooks, fishes, and plays guitar.
