Denny looks like what he is, a farmer. Or what he was anyways. In his mid-40s, he grew up in the country before all country people were assumed to be yahoos and rednecks. His Mama saw to it that he went to church pretty regular and that he kept himself and his clothes and his mouth clean. His Daddy died when Denny was young, so he had to be the man around the place and he always did his best. He never got around to marrying. He clearly has some butchery in his background as well.

He's a big guy who never spent an hour working out in a gym, his muscles come from heavy work. He was never what you'd call good-looking and getting older hasn't helped in that area. His face is lined and roughened by outdoor work. His dark, close-cropped hair is showing a fair amount of gray. His posture isn't the best.

But his eyes show a surprising gentleness. His manner is courteous, his voice quiet and he doesn't talk much. His smile is slow but sincere. Despite that, around the dead Denny can be a bit Morbid.
