Zaiya Alvina has never been one to intentionally downplay her image, and her stature and choice of clothing styles play this up, preferring a certain sense of fashion as opposed to some doddering old magus' choice of wear.  A young tiefling, she has the good fortune of having an ashen skin tone that could pass for human on it's own--save for the odd darker spots here and there which could be mistaken for freckles if you were just looking at her face.

The presence of the two horns growing from her brow puts any such cross-species deception to bed in a hurry though, as does the scaly tail that she continually struggles with dealing with--alas, the troubles of a life lived as an apparent spawn of evil spirits.

Her choice of clothing tends to favor short black dresses that keep her arms and legs free, supplemented by a set of detached sleeves beginning just before her elbows, stockings with a good set of shoes, and a comfortable-looking vest that provide the much desired padding needed for someone who's obligated to carry around more goods than are strictly desired for extended periods of time.  She adds a hooded mantle on top of this when weather demands it of her, keeping her pixie-cut lilac hair out of the sun, rain, or whatever other disaster nature decides to pour down on her.

At her side often is a large, heavily embossed book, securely tied to her belt with a fine chain, which she can often be found reviewing on the road when something catches her interest.  One would imagine that she's finished it by now, but wizards are going to do what wizards will do.
