Azie'r

Name: Aziér (meaning "split rock" or "broken rock").
Species: Half Human / Half Dark Elf.
Age: Young to Mature Adult
Height: 5’6’’

Appearance: Before you stands a lithe person with gray skin and pointed ears; his Dark Elf lineage is obvious, although the traits are muted, not coursing as strongly through him as it does the rest of his kin. And as many of Elven blood, his youthful grace and soft features may or may not mask his true age.

His garb, comprising snug leather armor of a dark brown and a short, rough coat of black, bear the faint markings of a person used to the road. Across his back alongside his rucksack is strapped a large bow, which, in contrast to his appearance, would make any highwayman think twice about making him their next target. And if that wouldn't deter them, his contemplative, stoic confidence might.

Backstory: Born as a half-breed into House Xolarrin, Aziér had his fate laid out for him from birth. He was to serve as a servant until he reached adolescence, at which point he would join the patrols to protect the Middledark from looming threats on the outskirts. And even though he showed an aptitude for the magic they taught, the harsh, cruel environment was made even harsher by the disdain shown to him by his superiors. Once he reached adulthood, he was to leave the Middledark and never return. It was all sold to him as a mercy; half-breeds fathered by Drow could only be so lucky. But it suited him fine. He never had much fondness for their way of life.

In the World Above, he made his living selling his skill for various causes. First in Silverymoon, and then as a free agent to whoever’s cause was more just. And if they had equal claim, Azie’r went to the highest bidder. Now, with the threat of the Giants, Aziér is once again reminded of the duties he undertook while serving in the forces of the Drow, only it seems far more dire. What drove them to such lengths? When he then was tasked with investigating the crash-landed tower of a Cloud Giant, it seemed a perfect opportunity to both sate his curiosity and make some coin. Only, when he arrived, he found that he had been beaten to the punch.
