Never the biggest, smartest, fastest, or best looking, Cynyr was…average.  No, that isn’t true.  He is small, quick, moderately strong, hardy, and better looking than most.  He just wasn’t the best at any of those qualities attributed to knights.

The one thing he was, was clever.  He had a way of knowing just enough to be useful, a slight flair for negotiating his way through the court, and an ability to get a smile from the ladies…but, even with all of that, what he is really, really good at, is games, games of chance, games of strategy, you name it, he was good at it.
