Description
Tall and slim, like most half-elves, Teana has long white hair that she lets grow wild - the better to catch the wind. Her movements are almost inhumanly graceful, especially when leaping or flying, and this accentuates the wild-hearted charisma of her smile and her voice. By the standards of her race, she's barely full-grown, with skin as yet unwrinkled and unweathered by time and wind, though she has the easy fighting stance of a warrior-athlete.

Teana usually wears form-hugging leather travelling clothes, concealing her mithral armor underneath. She carries no visible weapons.

Background
Teana Florin of Mirene was born the child of a common shopkeeper and his wife, but from birth she had always had an unusual link to the air. Even as a girl, her jumping abilities and the strength of her wind blasts drew the attention of the gangs near Thieves' Gate, and as she outgrew the local gang disputes, she found herself employed by the patricians of the city. By the time she was an adult, Teana had already become known as a courier and caravan guard. To Teana, there was no real point where she became an adventurer and heroine; she just kept getting into scrapes, asked for help or hired for jobs.

"The Windstorm" is now one of the finest young adventurers of the former Mekarium. Her speed and skill are unusual, but it's always been her acrobatic leaping and her devil-may-care courage that people talk about. After a recent adventure involving a slaver gang, a Captain's daughter and a lemon custard, she's been sent north by the Merchant Council to find the heir and protect her, hopefully to the benefit of the city.
